my employer offers that retirement training 1 or 2 times a year. I did finally go to one and in that class, the biggest and most important thing I learned is that one should not wait until just before you retire to learn something about your retirement. The best thing a new government employee should to is go to this training as soon as you can. dont wait until its too late to make smart decisions. At my age, I wish I had it to do over again.
