Hi Allen, I will certainly look up those terms. I don't know much about investing but I do search for answers. There are so many options and tactics that it is mind boggling for someone like me.
I picked Vanguard TF 2035 because I am willing to take a little risk considering that I still have 11 years to go until mandatory retirement at 57.
My goals are to retire as soon as I can, depending on my financial situation, of course.
Things to consider are new laws passed by Congress and budget changes like doing away with the FERS supplement and contributing more to our fed retirement deductions, personal situation, etc.
Also, I'm single but who knows if I will still be single by then.
