I know this is a very personal choice dependent upon various factors. Still, I'd really appreciate any opinions (Sarah?).
I'm 59 years old, about 6 years from retirement. I've been a USPS employee for 22 years, and have contributed to TSP the entire time...C fund exclusively until this last election. Got out at the wrong time to the G fund! No mortgage, kids, credit card debt... Married to a woman who is 10 years my junior, so, she should be working a good 10 years after I retire.
So here's my question. How much $$ should I hold in the G fund, if any, while I invest in the C and S funds for the next 6 years? Thanks.
