I love reading everyone's comments and perspectives. Re-thinking my strategy as well, but still somewhat following the group's moves. Being within 5 years of retirement and needing to use some of my TSP funds almost immediately after retirement....I've decided to diversify more, trying to preserve more money while also buying into stocks at the lower prices. So, on Jan 11, I increased my holdings of G and decreased holdings in C & S, while I increased the new contributions to C & S. I've been tracking share prices of when I buy/sell (interfund transfers, etc) - trying to buy low (or level) and sell higher. Hoping this strategy makes sense, as share prices are something I can understand.
I'm staying on this course, and when the group moves all to G, I'll probably do the same (with my distribution of account), but still buy into stocks (new contributions).
Buying low.......hoping this market will bounce back in the next 5 years!
