Gurus Mostly Strike Out-Again....Typically happens during market melt-ups.How do you know you are in a global credit bubble? The Fed starts hiking rates and financial conditions ease instead of tighten.Last Friday the Bank of Japan had to intervene in their bond market since God forbid if they ever let the free-market price bonds. The Bank of Japan bought heavily and declared they were willing to buy unlimited amounts of bonds (with money created out of thin air) to keep interest rates on their 10-year bonds at zero percent interest rates.The money created out of thin air by the BOJ and ECB flows globally to include into the US financial markets (not the economy). This is all going to end badly someday.Any responsible financial adviser who attempts to manage risk is going to under-perform the market until the markets top. Gurus while right about the end-state will struggle with timing. Anyway, we are only half way through the year. We should at least get through the most perilous months of the year for the stock market before declaring them wrong.Michael Bond
