My points more or less are
Take control of __your__ life and __your__ retirement __now__
Don't wait for someone else to tell you what to do, you may wait 10 years, or longer
You have to tell yourself "when to run"
So, do something, anything, right or wrong, do something, don't wait for permission to take control of your own life
(drugged out band or not, is their advice wrong?)
If you do nothing else, look at the following chart, which took 30 seconds to generate
If you put 100,000 in
G fund, in 1 year you have $102,080
S Fund in 1 year you have $118,220
if you are lazy and dont want to look for a year
L 2050 fund $114,590
Take control of your life, your retirement
You were the student, you are old enough to be a teacher
"Do, or do Not, there is no try"
"once the avalanche has started, the pebble no longer has a vote"

Now look at this, again, 30 seconds to create, 4 years, 999 days of the market.
Consider the next 999 days, 4 years. Do you want 8.75%, G or 50-60% C or S or even merely L2050 41% gains? (YMMV)
Fear is the mind killer. Do not be afraid to do something, even the wrong thing, its most likely better than "NO thing"
