We dedicate this platform with admiration and gratitude
To all who stand strong in the face of danger
So that the American people may be protected against it —
The men and women of our military,
of our law enforcement, and the first responders
of every community in our land —
And to their families.
Not counting the fat, lazy, overpaid, over-compensated, couldn't find a job if it wasn't EEO, federal employees (no caps; sic)
We shall sacrifice them in the (Roman) forum of public opinion to appease the masses while further raising our own benefits, perks and preferential legislation.
I'm sorry, I never reply or fan the flames of political discussion here....I'm in for the finance. I'm also quite apolitical most of the time. Substance, not party, is what interests me in politics. But, the utter of hypocrisy of the opening statement (Feds omitted) and the rather vicious attack in the body of the platform is pretty inflammatory. Perhaps we should discuss the misdeeds and craven behavior observed on the Hill by the dedicated Federal Servants who protect and serve their elected masters? No, I think not.
I'll disappear back beneath the surface now, and simply lurk.
