Sarah,

I am wondering what is your advice for those of us that are retired an withdrawing from TSP already.

I am following several different sites as for advice.

I have been able to maintain about my balance and withdraw monthly income so far.

Based on my current balance I am withdrawing about 5.5% per year or 0.46% per month.

currently my balance is 65.2% in G , 16.1 % in F and 18.7% in C.

I have been avoiding the I and S because of the faster change rates since I am no longer contributing.

I would like your thoughts on this.

If you are still in the F fund, I would say, at this point, have patience.

First, realize that the F fund is doing very well this year.

Second, consider that:

The S fund is still in a long term bear market.
The Dow Transports are still in a long term bear market, which means that the Dow Theory is still long term bearish.

And we are approaching the seasonal bear months of Aug, Sep and Oct.
