[TSP_Strategy] Re: Stocks Are A Buy

 

I believe in following the markets, but in the case of TSP investments try not to make any changes but maybe once a quarter, if that often.  I'm in G with small portion in F funds and have been for some time.  Piling as much in and preserving capital until the up side of the next recovery.  Too much sideways movement in the stock indexes with not much if any upside right now in my opinion.

You must invest in a manner in which you can sleep well at night.  If, for you, that means the G and F funds, then go to it.

Most feds place their funds solely in the G fund and keep it there thru retirement, to avoid horrible losses.  Unfortunately, while this investment never goes down, it underperforms both equities and inflation over the long run.
