I'm 10 months from retirement, probably 5+ years from using TSP funds. I just submitted an interfund xfer increasing my equity exposure from 25-40% at cob today. I expect a recovery bump regardless of long-term trend.

So, if I'm following things correctly...If someone has mostly been in stock funds for the past year, and you have another 20+ until retirement, moving into the G fund would be a bad idea because it would essentially "lock in" your losses for 2015.If you are closer to retirement (within 5 years for example), moving into G might be the way to go, since things will probably get worse before they get better.Am I in the right ballpark here?
