I posted this at other websites so please forgive if you ran into it elsewhere.
Today when I logged into my account at the TSP website, I received a popup saying that I now can provide an email address. Sure enough, my email address and phone number under my profile were gone. So I set the email and phone number back to what they have been since I retired. I keep my email from TSP so I know they had this information already.
While on the account page I noticed a box for subscribing to email communication/alerts. Again, if I moved money in the past I had always received email notices of transactions. Now the TSP site seems to have outsourced the personal info and communications to a private party with website GovDelivery.com. This may not be new but it is new to me. Going to the TSP site and getting popups about profile information and finding non-government sites managing communications is creepy.
Has anyone here signed up with GovDelivery.com in order to receive communications/notifications? Who is GovDelivery.com? Is this legit? Did TSP lose your personal information too but not your login information.
