[TSP_Strategy] Re: Female TSP Fund?

Wow. I would support this more in the private sector because they can do what they want, (invest in christian owned companies, tell you how to cut your hair, exclude tobacco companies and Monsanto)  but not so much in a Federal program.  This is overt sexism, to specifically favor one gender over another by financially supporting them through investment.  Why not have a fund for Native American investments, or one that specifically excludes Latinos?  Because it's exclusionary, that's why.   "Studies show women companies outperform"......are we really going to get into studies that measure attributes by gender, race, ethnicity etc.  All that does is alienate and highlight differences.  I like to treat everyone equally, despite studies that highlight who earns more money, outperforms on standardized tests, finds themselves more frequently incarcerated, has higher rates of alcoholism, is better at math and science, etc.  I believe it's just dangerous territory to highlight differences and then treat people differently as this bill suggests.
