Re: [TSP_Strategy] Not Exactly Getting Rich

I don't mind helping the helpless, but I have no desire to help the clueless.

I held back last week when SSN was discussed as a retirement fund when in fact it's an insurance policy that guarantees as much as anything that  a widow can raise the kids or a disability isn't financially terminal. Now it's fishing and poor people getting attacked and the selfishness demonstrated here makes me sick.

The 1% and multinational corporations OWN congress, the media, the economy, and are by far the single greatest contributor to the alarming deterioration of the middle class AND the destruction of our planet, thank you very much. While poor people are certainly a drag on the economy they are not a legitimate target for any thinking person.

So with that said, keep your politics to yourself and you won't be forced fed mine. This is a financial advisory group not a tea bagger convention.
Thank you!

We do know that teaching a man to fish helps far more giving him fish for few days... We are not quibbling about helping the poor. But what about the able-bodied "poor"?
Real issue is  how can we get those to work who are able to work, but haven't chosen to work because system makes it too easy for them to get multiple levels of benefits so they choose NOT to work. At what point  are we enabling generations not to work?
Do we have policies that would induce more  people to work?
Do we have policies that allow businesses to grow and hire?
Have we become more divisive, less transparent?
I don't care which  political party solves our social and financial problems as long as we get back on track.
