Another side note, anywhere I go I see that I can buy gold (i.e. jewelry, coins, bars) at the highest price possible. Then I see on TV where there are many businesses wanting to buy your gold. I suspect that most buyers will not want to give you what your gold is really worth.
I remember reading a story about WWII were people would give all there gold just to hide in a barn, or attic (with a little to eat) in Germany to prevent being captured.
I see gold like stocks, people want to sell you there stocks at a high price, and when it comes time to sell, other people don't want you give you what you think it's worth.
