I like to think of the groups current allocation as "home", while I gamble on some of the more obvious highs and lows, selling and buying into the G fund. I caught the most recent dip at the right time and made a small gain. Overall, I'm sitting at 21% over the past 12 months. I trust Sarah when I am not feeling confident in my own moves.
My personal opinion is that you are better off sitting it out with the group in S, taking the short loss to catch the long gain, which will probably outgain the other funds if you hang on.
