Historically, the ratio of SPX/GOLD was trying to maintain a parity. What's the ration now? roughly 2:1 right? So what do you get anything out of this data?
In January 1994, the SPX was 470 and gold was selling for $395.
To date, the SPX is up 340% and gold is up 178%.
