It sure isn't too hard to see the intent behind this article. With words like "Goldbugs" used 6 times, "gold aficionado's", "scare seniors", ties to Glenn Beck, Big fund dumping, or China revealing less than what was thought. You get the idea. Using a financial report from China as factual evidence is laughable at best.
The PTB are pulling out all the stops to ensure gold does not reveal itself as the canary in the coal mine. They will not be able to keep this charade up forever and I don't think they intend to. Every currency on the face of the planet is in a race to the bottom. Never in the history of the world has anything come close to what's going on in the world of finance today. Unlike what the article says, I believe the PTB know exactly what they're doing and they won't stop until all currencies collapse. How else do they get the world to buy in to the new reserve currency. Can you spell SDR? Unlike all the fiat in the world, the only store of wealth that will make it to the other side with its value in tact will be precious metals or other objects of intrinsic value.
I choose not to believe in the mad max scenarios accepted by many. But I do believe it's prudent to diversify in an attempt to protect my wealth from a very real and present threat.
What large fund would sell 33 tons of gold all at once during a slow period at night? If you can't see the purpose behind this move, and the tidal wave of negative press for the gold market it caused, you just aren't paying attention.
When the dollar becomes worthless what will bank and brokerage accounts be worth? When the dollar becomes worthless an ounce of gold in hand will still be an ounce of gold. Gold is the only true money that has stood the test of time. IMHO
