Sorry for the late response. I have been otherwise engaged for the last several weeks and have been paying less attention to the financial markets. Yes, I am still 100% in S. I am also way over-invested in stocks in our personal portfolios. I simply don't see any better alternatives at the moment. Fixed income is very highly priced at the long end and does not pay enough at the short end. Unfortunately, when things turn it could get very ugly. That is the risk. I am always ready to sell out of stocks and even pay taxes by selling within my taxable accounts.
I might have to sell some for personal use. I am actually anxious to get some sell signals in order to lighten up on investments that are at risk regarding specific events..
I do not recommend that anyone investing for retirement be fully invested in stocks unless such investments are just numbers and are irrelevant to that person's feeling of well-being and happiness.
I will let the board know when I decide to bail on stocks. I think that catastrophic events can happen at any time but otherwise do not see major sell signals appearing soon. The Fed could begin raising interest rates before the end of the year, which would be a signal for longer-term traders to reduce their allocations to stocks. I almost certainly would be doing so.
