Richard Lopez...thank you for the information and comments. I guess I should have chosen better words. I just wanted to determine if I could put anything into my TSP for the 2019 tax year. But what you said makes sense. I will leave in the middle of a pay period and since I won't be in the tolls on 1/1/19 then I couldn't put any funds into TSP. I will verify this with my benefits staff. Also, i would not want to leave on 1/1/19 since I'm under FERS and my annuity would begin no sooner than 3/1/19.
