With interest rates rising, won't we expect the dollar to rise and thus I price to drop since it would take fewer dollars to buy the same assets in foreign currency? I am new to this, so consider what I said a speculation not fact.
When interest rates rise, the currency should rise.
You are correct.
However, that is only one factor affecting the currency. Political stability and debt also affect it.
