Why not check the share price at the ends of the day at TSP.gov and base your strategy on that price? Nothing is perfect in life and Sarah provides a lot of free advice to all of us that she does not have to. If you think the S fund is better for you then go for it. We all have to make decisions for ourselves that work for our individual situation. If you need an hourly accurate quote of an index fund perhaps the I fund is not the place for you to be.
