Subject: [TSP_Strategy] Re: Matching Roth Contributions Are Taxed
Roth = taxed; Traditional = non taxed; Agency matching has ALWAYS = non-taxed and not really tax deductable only free money that gets taxed when you take it out. The REAL discussion should be how does the new tax bill affect TSP choices. If these tax rates will only be temporary shouldn't we all be considering ROTH contributions if our tax situation will be equal or greater in retirement????
