J J,

please do share...the good intel you claim to know.

For those of you who support the cuts:

You support eliminating FERS SRS, Social Security, Medicare, and low-income programs, but why is there enough money to give Trump and capitalists tens of millions in tax cuts from lowered corporate tax code by 20 percent to 15% AND lowered tax bracket from 39.6% to 33?

Massive tax cuts for the capitalist will hurt growth and the majority of Americans IF they aren't paid for which is why they support cutting our retirement, Social Security, Medicare, and low-income programs.

Reagan proved tax cuts are good.  He demonstrated this by cutting unproductive spending!  Federal employment will be less attractive by reducing federal employee benefits according to Trumps proposal.  This will effectively merge us with the private sectors uniformed business models.  I agree changes need to be made to Social Security, Medicare, and low-income programs but not consolidated.  Retirement can be changed also but shouldn't be made to existing federal employees without their consent.  Employees could choose to switch to FERS or keep CSRS during its transition.

Tax cuts ALONE don't automatically boost the economy.  There are many factors.

Fun Fact:  Since 2001, Bush Tax cuts, history shows tax cuts for the rich aren't a surefire way to create jobs.  Growth here was weaker compared to Clinton and Obama tax increases.  On the other hand, tax increases don't automatically create jobs and boost economic growth.  There are many factors at play.

This will not work for the GOP "race to the bottom" economic model (for us rather than Trump/CEOs/Capitalists).

So the GOP continues to attack our pay and benefits, widening the gap between the rich and middle class workers.

Case in point: sure we can use some cuts, but not to finance the lowered corporate tax code approximately 5% and lowered tax bracket from 39.6% to 33.

Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone!
