Can I contribute to TSP through my personal savings or pocket since I'm not getting automatic TSP allocation from my military paycheck anymore/discharge

Interfund Transfer or IFT is moving your existing money between funds.

Contribution Allocation tells TSP where you put your money from your paycheck (if still contributing).
