While some advisory services fail to publish returns, and thereby claim no responsibility for their recommendations, a similar failure is when an advisory service provides multiple allocations (e.g."Aggressive" "Conservative" et al, ) and will then tout the returns of their best allocation.
The purpose of having advisory services publish their returns is to enable all to compare them.
