I was going to type a reply but decided to make it a post instead. I agree the TSP F fund did not get much respect in the past, but it is not the best non-equity fund today. Past returns mean nothing when comparing the TSP F and G fund.

I also wrote a recent post on the debt ceiling impact on the TSP G fund. Expect G fund interest payments to be suspended around or after 15 March.
