[TSP_Strategy] Finding current Group Allocation

 

For us newbies:

 

TSP Strategy Group homepage, click "More" on (group) menu at top and select "Database". Current group allocations are in the TSP Allocations DB by sarah_oz (the only database!) and then in the database the Name field for TSP Strategy and allocation(s) (currently 100% C) is/are listed there.

That site allows you to track the funds using moving averages, and has downloadable data.

I use it to help remove emotions by noting what the long term, 50 and 100 day and short term 20 day (2.5, 5 and 1 month) are doing, their general trend, C&S up, I ? F? and are any moving averages heading for a crossover.

Just look at the MA's

They remove daily 'noise" and keep me from being a "stress puppy" freak out

This is long haul, for wife 30+ years, me ,24+ years. (Retired now tho)

Me either. I did check out this website (full site not iPhone mobile version) which someone posted in last 24 hrs.   But if that's the site then in can not find the TSP Strategy group allocation info.

Hoping to hear from someone soon.

This is a great message. I'm new the group as of Dec 2016 & I was also anxiously awaiting to see if/when Sarah would post anything making changes to allocation.

I wasn't aware you could check the groups current allocation.

I am a bit amazed by how many people do not know how to check the group's current allocation, or won't bother to check it. Sending a message asking if we have moved takes as much effort as just checking the allocation in the database. Maybe there is a way to add a heading or a signature line to every message showing the current allocation. If this could be done, it might reduce the frequency of posts regarding the group's current allocation?
