Thanks, Robert. That's what I thought. I have the same combination (Part B and BCBS Basic) and no complaints, or costs, other than modest prescription costs and dental and vision.

Jim, I have Medicare Part B and BCBS Basic. I had Standard up until 2 years ago. I looked into utilizing my one time opportunity to switch to BCBS Standard when I saw how extensive my wifes care was going to be. I decided to stay with Basic because I didn't see an advantage other than the amount of therapy each pays for. Medicare was more than adequate to cover that difference.
