Re: [TSPStrategy] How low to go.

I went to a brokerage account years ago for the reasons you listed.  Index ETFs that match what TSP offers are available with similar low expense ratios.  My broker doesn't charge commissions.  I am not limited in the number of trades per month.  Plus many many more investment vehicles are available to choose from.    In summary the argument for is more freedom and more choice gives you  the opportunity to make more money.   The argument against  is more freedom and more choice increases  the risk of losing more money.
