I think "risk aversion" is the term you're looking for.
Wow, retired at 68. I don't think I can last that long! If the stock market continues to do well, I hope to be retired by 58 (I'm 48 now).

Good move David! I am 72 and retired since Aug 2017, my risk-averness (is that a word?) incited me to go 100%G, but I do get hungry seeing what equities are doing since 31Dec. On the other hand I am glad to have locked in the gains that I had at that point. Just keeping both eyes open going forward and trying to see under what condition a buy-back could be advantageous.
