There is an OPM chart that converts the hours of sick leave into months and days. This is added to your term of service (similarly expressed in years, months and days).
The total is rounded down to years and months (days in excess are truncated) and that is used to compute your benefit. The trick is ensure you have enough sick leave hours to make a whole month.

I'm told that sick time will be added to the formula for determining the amount of your FERS pension. Does every hour count, or is it taken as a group such as 40 hour blocks... And if it is blocks would odd number be discarded- for example you have 42 hours, or one week 2 hours; would the 2 hours be tossed?
Also- I keep getting emails from a "VS Approved Vendor" offering to walk me through everything relating to retirement from best days to retire to TAP annuities. I smell a rat. Who do I contact that actually works for the VA to get my pre retirement information?
Thanks!
