Re: [TSP_Strategy] Re: Sitting on cash, accepting opinions.

Im putting some sidelined cash into long term investments that have a dividend since the prices on these have stock.  I am not goin to give my specific stocks just so I dont get grief by someone should the not work out but think along the lines of  consumable product companies, energy, waste, junk food.

this is a discussion group for TSP, but you said two things that intrigued me somewhat.
im retired fed, forced to finally start withdrawing TSP due to age.
you mentioned "investing"/ buying in bitcoin.
I would love to see anywhere a physical manifestation of a single bicoin, so i could flip it, heads, tails, is it a version of Schrodingers cat, dead and alive until examined?
Just a single coin, somewhere anywhere to collapse the wave function
As for what to invest in, what I have been doing for around 60+ years is following the space program and renewable energy.
electricity and free fuel, what do you store the free fuel in.
economically, fossil fuel is like a "rent seeker", you have to pay and pay.
renewable energy, sunlight, wind, is like a bond, you "buy" it once and clip coupons for the life of the bond, sunlight and such.
the fuel is _free_  --->free<---, absolutely --->free<----
fossil fuel is ~2.3 - 2.7 Trillion dollar a year business.
Australia just set up a combo Wind/battery and solar PV plant and reduced peak electrity charges from $11,500 - $14,000 a megawatt hour to $270 a megawatt hour.
($11.5 - $14/ kilowatt hour down to 2.7 cents a kilowatt hour)
So, im personally invested in companies engaged in the various industries, Metals such as Li, Co, Ni, Mg, Scandium, Carbon, companies that have precise control of cathodes for batteries, companies that get and process the materials for batteries, computer companies that make GPU's that can control virtual power plants and see the future, finally materializing.
i'm going back to lurk mode
