I've read the market news and I kind of get-it about the factors in the US market declines yesterday and today. Interest rates and the dollar decline are among the factors in this decline. So I have some understanding why the C and S funds are down lately. But, could anyone shed some light on why the International market (I Fund) is commensurately down?
I DID mention to everyone that February is seasonally bearish, didn't I? Also, the USD went up .6% yesterday, which would push the I fund lower.
So, this is far from surprising. We are not in a bear market at this point.
All indices remain above their 50 and 200 day MAs, and the MAs themselves remain bullish.
To date, this is normal market fluctuation.
