While it seems unlikely that the Senate will go along with the House's budget resolution of reducing the rate of return for the Thrift Savings Plan's G Fund, it sounds particularly scary to those of us on the cusp of retirement, as it would decimate the L Income fund as it is now.
What other possible strategies would one use to reproduce the L Income's rather safe 3.95% average rate of return since its inception with a different mix of TSP funds?
Ideas?
