Have no idea, but I won't  fight it - following the trend. I was asking myself the same when last month, not trusting it would continue much higher, and wanting to hedge against a down turn, I moved 100% to L2020. 

Now that sentiment has improved so apparently has the trend.  I moved yesterday to 85% L2030, 10% S, and 5% i. I know this mix appears odd but this addresses my risk assessment of where the market is right now.  Cheers.  - Eric

I believe that was Paul. Wow, S&P 500 is closing in on its peak of 2128 it set back in late July 2015! 

C Fund is up over 7% since TSP strategy switched to F, and up nearly 16% since its Feb 2016 low. 

S Fund is up nearly 23% since its February low. 

How much longer will this cyclical bull continue to rise?

Awhile back, someone (sorry I forgot whom) said he was going to watch whether SPX would rise to 2103, in which case it might then go back down, but then watch to see whether it would rise to 2236 or so, in which case he expected it might drop down much further.

The C Fund has been slowly climbing over the past (with declines too) over the past few months, but the trend has been upward overall.

Thoughts as to where the next new high might go? And if the person who mentioned the 2236 number could chime in I'd be highly interested.
