Yes, definitely locking in the loss. But if it keeps going and I can come back in July at a lower share price than I left with then I end up with more shares, that's good, right?
I mean, I understand the overall folly of trying to time the market with our limited trades but sometimes if you can look at world events and step back from a big drop then that could be good, right?
Overall I have followed the prevailing wisdom here for a long time but a few times I jumped to the G fund when I felt bad things were about to happen and picked up a few points.
In this case I took a bigger gamble and went 50% F on the earlier polls that Brexit was unlikely. Had a nice gain in the last couple days too- oh well.
