If I had money sitting in G, I'd be putting it back in the market either in C or S.  Just my two cents.  Your mileage may vary.
BTW, I'm retired and no longer able to buy every payday.

In my case I'm down around $35k on funds currently sitting in S. More or less 10% loss in value. The other half in G is making a few pennies per day. I'm probably going to sit tight for a while. S has been way too volatile for me to try to buy into it low. I fear it doing down even more.

The thinking is that higher FED rates as promised, will more severely effect younger business in getting cheap credit to grow. The other day I went 30% C, 70% G, to ALL  C.  INMO through all the travails since the great recession, "plot it"  if you are able to weather the storm for 2-3 years, the S&P comes back.  S grows faster, but more volatile.

JP, I know and thanks...just hate that a bunch of us bought back in on the absolute high right before an unexpected correction. If we get a santa rally we might recover some of it...  Thanks

I'm currently 50/50 G/S. I am contemplating moving what I have in G to C or S or both. I'm just not sure if I should since it has been a rollercoaster lately and I don't know if we bottomed out or if there is more downturn coming.

The brunt of the damage is done on the S what makes you think C won't start coming down next?  I'm hoping it's a correction and a Christmas rally starts soon.  Or I'll be working another few years with missing out on this year's upside to getting in just in time for the downslope. I guess you're not to old to learn that you can't time the market. The old saying comes to mind…..sometimes you get the bear and sometimes the bear gets you.

This is a tough decision on staying in S or moving to C with some.  S seems to be the worst performer recently, Tex-do you happen to have any recent opinions on a hold or add strategy to S at the point?  Thanks

Sarah,
Obviously the omnicrom threat came after your last announcement, but are you still 100% S or did you bail?  Any thoughts on where we're headed in the next weeks?
Thanks!

S fund down 9.29% since 1 Nov.  Let's hope omicron proves to be less of a threat so we might still see a Santa rally…
