No bonds in my portfolio. I am in the mindset that our government pension is our "bond/treasury" part. Adding Social Security to that mix also.
Here a an example that SS and Pension is 60% of your portfolio if you save $1M in TSP and estimate you need 30 years of withdrawals. That is a lot of KNOWN or lower risk assets. Why would someone add bonds if you have a guarantee SS and Pension.
