Well that sounds entirely different than asking if there is a "board" or "governance rules". Both of which, combined with starting by saying you are a newbie, led me to my "this isn't a brokerage" response. Over the many years, there have been occasional posts where people were under the impression this was some sort of service, not a discussion. Apologies for my boot stomping.
So re-phrased, that is a reasonable question, is there a transition or ascension plan? The "benevolent monarch" approach works until the monarch leaves (or ascends to sainthood. The woman has the patience for the job!).
I'm guessing we will have to do away with "the group position" (which really is "Sarah's stance") and encourage people to pontificate.
