If you're near retirement age, or in retirement and count strongly on TSP money within 5 years or so,
know about 'sequence of returns'. It's the risk of receiving lower or negative returns in a period when withdrawals are made. The
order or the sequence of investment returns can significantly impact your portfolio value.

Plus, the ROI is only 1 part of the it. How much you've invested plays a much larger role. I didn't put enough in when I first joined the federal government, trying to make up for lost time.
