[TSP_Strategy] RE: Look But Don't Panic

 

Trying to figure out why people worry about where their money is invested when they start retirement.   Unless

you are withdrawing it all then.  I plan to withdraw it in payments for 40 years and doubt I can afford to keep it in safer funds all those years and will plan for stock funds to increase over those years like in the past 40 years.

If I got less than 3 years before retirement I wouldn't mess with all of it except for the safety of G. I got 2 years before retirement and I went from 100% S when this group first recommended it to 60 %G 40% S by instinct when china stock went down and glad I did. Waiting for Sarah to give orders to sell S and I would go 100% G.
