I haven't seen any discussion of people's status during the current shutdown. Anyone else furloughed?
My agency was funded for an extra week after the shutdown started. That half-worked pay period translated into about one-fourth my normal take-home after all the deductions. With my spouse working, we have the resources to get through this, but I wouldn't want this to go on for months. I feel for those less fortunate one who now have no income.
