All,Another side effect to this shutdown just occurred to me, and unless I am mistaken, while the government will eventually credit scheduled TSP contributions once we get paid, the purchases will (if trends hold) occur in a stock market already up sharply since the shutdown began, and not at the much lower level when purchases "should" have occurred. If I am correct, this will be another lingering financial impact for feds, and will hurt all of us who have stayed in equities and who would otherwise benefitted from dollar cost averaging.
