Thank you for the clarification, Sarah and ST. I was worried I would have to factor in the employer matching contribution when calculating my own bi-weekly contribution, factoring in COLA and Step increases. I was getting a headache just contemplating it lol.
By the way, what do you think of Robert's idea of front-loading the TSP to reach the contribution limit early in the year, giving your contribution more time to earn interest? Of course, I'd have to make sure that I leave enough room so that I can continue contributing at least 5% every paycheck, in order to continue receiving the employer matching contribution.
