And how has your plan worked out for you? Have you had many health claims. My wife and I are in our '60's and have BCBS. It seems to pay ok although I wonder if something else would be cheaper/ better. Heck, BC paid for my wife's hearing aid!

I had Blue Cross-Blue Shield from 2001-2009, total increase in premiums over that period was 103%.Switched to an Aetna HSA plan in 2010, cut my premium by more than half. My total increase in premiums with Aetna from 2010-2013 was 39%.Switched to my current Altius HSA plan in 2014, cut my premium by 20%. My total increase in premiums with Altius from 2014-2016 will be about 7%.Not sure there is any correlation with the ACA and increasing premiums, as they were also increasing at an awful rate before the ACA.Also, I have much preferred having an HSA-HDHP type of insurance plan.
