Some of us got out of S a few months ago, so when would you think it would be good to get back in again?

It's an individual decision.  That said, when 50 day MA is above 200 day MA, you should be in equities.

I believe TSP should be traded solely based on long term indicators.  For that reason, I personally never left the S fund.  However, I am short several sectors in my personal portfolio.
