note: the Linear regression line is slightly up and the exponential moving average turned up a little over a month ago.

The bands are +/- 2 standard deviation bands, thus, by definition ~2/3 of movement is inside bands

I personally look at what has been happening since just prior to 5/14, and how things look like they are drifting upwards

the envelop bands seem turning up, the 20 day EMA turning up, 

S fund has been moving sideways since february

an exponential moving average gives more weight to most recent data and less to past data, as opposed to simple moving average that weights all data the same

it's just a snapshot in time of what the entire market "thinks"
