well, how are the 50 and 200 day moving averages doing on C, F, S, and I looking?
(Say from 9/1/2016)
any convergence or divergence? any flattening, what is the trend?
use moving averages, 50 and 200 day from below site
F looks like a disaster, 50 day rising BUT BELOW 200 day even tho rising, 200 flat/down/flat
C looks still good 50 day rising but slowing and ABOVE 200, which is also rising and both uptrends
S looks not as good as C, 50, 200 both rising, BUT 50 starting to flatten but still up but 50 and 200 are CONVERGING
I actually looks interesting, 50,200 both rising, lines are DIVERGING (50 rising faster)
Go back, do the same, using a 20, 50, 200 day set of moving averages to smooth the data?
20 day above the 50 day above the 200 day is what you want
50 slower than 20 and 200 slower than 50
PRESENTLY
F fund. 20 day above 50 day, BUT both BELOW the 200
C fund 20 day and 50 day, same number but ABOVE the 200 (yuck)
S fund 20 day BELOW the 50 day, both ABOVE the 200 (double yuck)
I fund 20 day ABOVE the 50, 50 day ABOVE the 200, {20 slitely converging on the 50} (hmmm)
todays date 4/24/2017, SO you have 3 moves per month... (last move is to G, which is essentially ca$h)

(the % difference between $28/share and $31.5/share is the exact same as $280/share and $315/share)
(What!! you are not graphing this daily? 4 data points for the indices and 8 more data points for the moving averages.
It's __YOUR__ retirement money, 60 data points (12x5) per week, not a lot of work)
go to site below, put in ~ 1 year, copy paste data into excel sheet to get data.....train your eyes
