Sarah, kindly and in an out-of-her-character move, broadcast her intent to go to G in an email 12/19/20 where she said;

"We might move to the G fund, as well, by year's end, just to be on the safe side."

I put that together along with my own take on things, primarily that there was higher probability of marginal losses than marginal gains given how far the market has ran already along with the political uncertainty, and sent that email.  I was hoping to *poke* Ms. Sarah into action so that people like Mary, who apparently aren't completely up-to-speed on the TSP rules, would be able to get out before the month rolled-over and they would lose the "Run to Safety i.e. G Sanctuary" move opportunity.

SO...for the Marys out there and anyone who just got to their email tonight...You can still flee to G tomorrow as long as you have it submitted before 12 pm Eastern Time tomorrow.

This will protect your gains and leave you with the ability to make 2 investment (as opposed to protection) moves in January.

Not taking credit for anything but the thing I hated the worst when I started watching the various TSP advisors is when they send out a change email last-minute.  Some of us actually work for a living and can't check our emails every day at 11:55 am EST.

I've got Sarah pulling the trigger tomorrow to preserve buy-and-holder gains.  Tomorrow so people who don't see the notice in time tomorrow still have the 31st to pull out.  A smart move which would preserve 2 moves for January to get back in in a stutter-step fashion.
