The TSP is a GREAT ....GREAT savings plan that frankly, makes brokers look BAD...You really can not do any better; even by staying in a 50%-50%...or 30%-30%-30%in the TSP...for the next 16 years (a good amount of time), you will be head and shoulders above 90% of the American public.My advice, take a retirement class offered by the government...the plan the Fed offers is a God Send !!!!!!!If you are a Federal employee...count your Blessings and never quit your job.One Caveat:We are now in Trump-ville....the last 2-3 years have been erratic and 50% bologna....so we are personally on the sidelines for a few weeksHope this helps
